Vietjet Aviation Academy - Foreign Approved Training Organization by Lao DCA
Since August 2023, Vietjet Aviation Academy has been officially a Foreign Approved Training Organization - FATO by Department of Civil Aviation of Lao to provide professional training for Lao's aviation workforce.
In the journey to fulfill its mission of becoming a leading and highly reputable aviation training center in the region, Vietjet Aviation Academy is steadily advancing with its first milestone: achieving international standards in infrastructure and training quality, recognized by the Civil Aviation Authority of Laos. The certifications issued by Vietjet Aviation Academy are not only valuable in Vietnam but also accepted in the Laotian aviation labor market. Alongside this recognition, Vietjet Aviation Academy will take on the responsibility of training aviation personnel for Laotian airlines. The training programs encompass the following areas:
- Aircraft Maintenance Technician
- Flight Dispatcher
- Ground Operation Personnel
- Cabin Crew
- Flight Crew
The positive outcome of this evaluation will further strengthen the enduring bond between Vietnam and Laos in various collaborative aviation training activities. It also opens up opportunities for many young individuals in Laos to participate in training courses at VJAA and obtain certifications to work in their home country
