Governor-General of Australia congratulates Vietjet on direct flights to Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane

Celebrating a series of activities in Melbourne and Sydney, Vietjet officially welcomes passengers on direct flights connecting Australia's largest cities with Vietnam.

Speaking about the opening ceremony in Melbourne, Chief Operations Officer Michael Hickey thanked the support of passengers, governments of the two countries, cities, airports and Australian partners cooperated with Vietjet to open routes to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, to fulfill the demands of travel, tourism, business and visiting relatives of a large number of customers, connecting with the region through Vietjet's extensive flight network. Welcoming the new routes, pilots and cabin crews gave passengers at Melbourne airport a youthful and vibrant flashmob performance, promoting the image of Vietnam to Australia.

Trong chuyến thăm Việt Nam, ông David Hurley, Toàn quyền Úc đã chia sẻ vui mừng về các đường bay mới được mở giữa Australia và Việt Nam, đặc biệt là việc Vietjet khai trương đường bay đầu tiên đến Melbourne vào ngày 8/4, sau đó là các đường bay thẳng đến Sydney và Brisbane.

Với chỉ gần 9 giờ bay cùng tàu bay lớn A330 hiện đại, các chuyến bay từ Melbourne về TP.HCM sẽ khởi hành vào các ngày Chủ nhật, Thứ Tư, Thứ Sáu. Các chuyến bay từ TP.HCM đi Melbourne phục vụ 3 chuyến khứ hồi mỗi tuần vào thứ Ba, Năm, Bảy. Ngay sau Melbourne, ngày 13/4, Vietjet cũng khai trương đường bay Sydney – TP.HCM với 3 chuyến khứ hồi mỗi tuần vào các ngày thứ Hai, Năm, Bảy từ Sydney về TP.HCM và thứ Tư, Sáu, Chủ Nhật từ TP.HCM đi Sydney.
