2012
July: Establishment of Vietjet Training Center (VTC) - Precursor of Vietjet Aviation Academy (VJAA).
2015
October:
Approved by Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) as Approved Training Organization (ATO) Level 3 (conduct ground and/or practical training that is not associated with flight Iraining) for: Cabin Crew Aviation Maintenance Technician and Pilot
The training qualification for Ground Operations Supervision and Flight Dispatcher and Flight Operation Officer was approved by CAAV.
December: Approved by CAAV as ICAO Aviation English Proficiency Assessment Organization for pilots.
2016 – 2018
February 2016: According to the contract signed by VJC and Airbus, VIAA conducted training activities for pilots, engineers, dispatchers with instructors complying with standards of Airbus and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
November 2018: Coordinated with Airbus to incorporate into training the 1st Airbus A320 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) & the 1st A320 Airbus Procedures Trainer (APT).
2019
August: Airbus A320 Door Trainer & Wave Pool utilized for Crew practical training were approved by CAAV.
November: Fire & Smoke Cabin Trainer utilized for Crew practical training were approved by CAAV.
2020
February: Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer (CEET) A320 was approved by CAAV.
April: Upset Prevention and Recovery Training program (UPRT) for Simulator number 01 was approved by EASA.
June:
Received CAAV's approval for Aircraft Basic Fundamentals Cat A training qualification.
Approved by CAAV the training qualification for Ground Operation Personnel and Ground Support Equipment Operation Personnel.
October: The 1st Airbus A320 FFS - Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) training program was approved by CAAV.
2021
May: Cooperated with Airbus to operate of the second FFS A320 and the second APT A320 and started to conduct Type Rating Training for pilots.
June:
Received CAAV's approval as ATO Level 2 (using simulation media approved by CAAV) and qualification for conducting Type rating and Airline transport pilot license theoretical (ATPL) training for pilots.
Dangerous Goods Regulations Training program was approved by CAAV.
August: Training qualification for: A320 Type Rating Training, Multi Crew Cooperation and Jet Orientation for pilots was approved by CAAV.
2022
September: Airbus 320 Door Trainer & Slide trainer A330 utilized for Crew practical training were approved by CAAV.
December:
Received CAAV's approval as theoretical and practical examination center of CAAV for Flight Crew, Flight Dispatchers, Aviation Maintenance Technician.
VJAA coordinates with Flight Training Schools to conduct Ab-initio training for pilots.
2023
February: The third Flight Simulator.
March: MOU with Eagle Flight Training.
April: MOU with F Air Ltd.
June: MOU with LILAMA2 Technology International College.
August: VJAA is Foreign Training approved by Lao DCA.
September:
VJAA becomes IATA Regional Training Partner.
MOU with Vietnam – Japan Institute for Human Resources Development.
November: MOU with College of Technology II.
December: Facebook Fanpage VJAA was officially verified.
